The Heritage Era of Marist College

Welcome... The following digital history of Marist College is presented to show the long heritage and the strong bond that exists between Marist College and the Marist Brothers.

This bond, which was initially forged in 1905, continues to the present day. The Marist Brothers not only physically constructed many of the buildings on the campus, they also imbued the college with their intellectual principles and religious values. The central position of Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel and the statues of their founder, Saint Marcellin Champagnat, throughout the college grounds, are evidence of this spirituality.

This web site is a testimony to the Marist Brothers' courage, initiative and devotion to Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

The Marist Brothers, Marists All community and Marist College are the embodiment of the vision of Saint Marcellin Champagnat to have a strong educational foundation based on firm Catholic beliefs and a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Marist College carries on the Marist Brothers' legacy of touching the minds of young students, inspiring them and giving their lives meaning. A prayer sums up that mission; "Come into this place of peace and let its silence heal your spirit. Come into this place of memory and let its history warm your soul. Come into this place of prophesy and power and let its vision change your heart."

Take with us a journey of remembrance and discovery.
